Data controller
ARCI (land development & construction, Tbilisi, Georgia) is the controller for personal data submitted through the Engineering Pool registration form at freelance.arci.ge.
What we collect
When you apply, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), country or timezone (optional), professional details you enter (badges, level, stack, portfolio links, availability), an optional short message, and your CV file (PDF or Word).
We also store technical metadata needed to operate the form securely (for example submission time and connection information).
Why we use it & legal basis
We process your data to assess whether you fit the Engineering Pool and to contact you about suitable projects.
Legal bases: your consent (the checkbox on the application form) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in building a vetted contractor pool for our software projects.
Storage & security
- Data is sent over HTTPS.
- CV files are stored encrypted at rest on ARCI's server, in a directory that is not publicly accessible on the web.
- Application details are stored in a private database on the same server.
- Only authorised ARCI staff can review applications.
Retention
We keep applications for up to 12 months, then delete or anonymise them unless you are active in the pool or a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Under applicable data-protection law (including GDPR where it applies), you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to data portability where relevant.
To exercise these rights, contact us from the same email address you used in your application so we can verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable time.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
Changes
We may update this notice. The version in effect when you submit your application is the one you agree to via the form checkbox.
